How often do we stop and think seriously about how we are taking care of our precious planet? Most of us, most of the time seem to be swept up in the ever increasing pace and demands of today's society. But stop and think we must if we are serious about rescuing our planet.

Today overly aggressive cleaning products still dominate our supermarket shelves. How can we go on allowing these products to severely pollute our waterways? Many people do stop and consider carefully what they are placing into supermarket trolleys but there is a reluctance for consumers to move away from the "big brands". In the end sticking with the harmful brands will cost us a lot more than our pocket.

The everyday choices we make as individuals can lead to a powerful shift in the market. As consumer needs change Multi National Corporations will have no choice but to align themselves with the shift, in turn they will be forced into becoming more accountable for what they produce. Only then will we see some big changes in the industry. We don't claim that we can save the world only that we are making our contribution in the reduction of packaging and chemical waste but it is up to every government, business and individual to take more realistic action to achieve sustainability.
